To facilitate recovery, we must include 'Active Recovery' days into the program. These are the sessions that will allow you to keep progressing your fitness, and avoid plateaus in training. Aim to keep power within Zone 1 for the majority of the session with only a few moments into zone 2. Choose a course with minimal elevation gain.
