Following two charts are per the most recent SRC race.
Average power per category
Ever wondered how many watts per kilo you need to output in order to stay with the pack in any category. Below are statistics only per Sunday Race Club events. We are excluding results that were ridden at what we consider easy / recovery pace. There's a gap in the graphs September 2023 to March 2024 - we unfortunately don't have precise values for this period. The silver vertical lines marks monthly finals. When you zoomed-in, most of the higher values are during the finals.
Starting from January 2025, there are two new categories, CAT 5 and CAT 6. Therefore, since this month, the trend-lines have changed a bit since all the categories were reshuffled a little bit.
