MyWhoosh 5.5.0 update
Published on 1 Dec 2025, 13:37:27 by Jakub VojacekMyWhoosh rolled 5.5 update on December 1st and it brings various new features and most importantly new Season pass and Bhutan!
🌏 1. Season Pass & The all-new 🇧🇹 Bhutan 🇧🇹 world
The most prominent highlight of the update is the introduction of Bhutan, a stunningly detailed new world inspired by the landscapes, culture, and dramatic scenery of the Himalayan region. Riders can now traverse lush valleys, challenging climbs, peaceful monasteries, and beautifully crafted roads that offer an experience unlike anything else in MyWhoosh. Season Pass 3 builds on this environment by adding a fresh range of challenges, unlocks, achievements, and rewards, encouraging riders to explore the new routes and terrains. Whether someone is looking for scenic endurance efforts or demanding elevation profiles, the Bhutan world provides a unique destination that keeps training exciting and visually captivating.
The detailed route list, as well as their distance and elevation, is on Bhutan world page.
🚴♂️ 2. Social ride late join - Automatic group spawn
The social riding experience has become much more welcoming thanks to the new automatic group spawn for late joiners. Instead of appearing far behind the main pack and being forced to chase alone, riders who join a social ride late will now be placed directly with the first group already on the road. This change ensures that social rides remain truly social, even for those who connect a few minutes after the event starts. The new system eliminates the frustration of chasing and encourages a more relaxed, community-focused environment.
🚴♀️ 3. MyBunch experience improvements
Group riding has been refined through significant enhancements to the MyBunch system. The platform now reacts more intelligently to rider behavior, speed changes, and group dynamics, resulting in a more natural and consistent bunching effect. Riders will notice smoother transitions when the pace shifts, better stability during surges, and an overall more predictable feeling when navigating within a group. These improvements make staying connected during races and group rides easier and more enjoyable, creating a realistic sense of pack movement that adds depth to every session.
🌬️ 4. New race feature options – Including wind effects
Racing has become even more tactical with the introduction of optional wind effects. Organizers can now enable wind conditions to influence drafting, pacing, and positioning, giving races a layer of realism that demands smarter decisions from participants. When wind is active, riders must think carefully about when to push, where to sit in the group, and how to manage their effort. Along with this major addition, several refinements to race setup and configuration contribute to a smoother and more polished competitive environment that benefits both riders and event hosts.
📊 5. Enhanced workout report – Deeper training insights
Training-focused athletes will appreciate the completely redesigned Workout Report, which now presents a far clearer and more detailed overview of each training session. The new report includes richer power and heart rate analytics, more precise representations of intervals, improved graph visuals, and clearer summaries that help riders quickly understand their performance. By offering a deeper look into how each part of the workout was executed, the updated report becomes a valuable tool for athletes following structured plans or tracking long-term progression.
