Season 1 of the Cycling Esports League Zone B - Europe has come to a thrilling conclusion. With 746 riders competing across eight stages, the European zone delivered some of the most competitive racing we've seen in virtual cycling.

A Complete Season of Racing

All eight stages ran smoothly, featuring a mix of Scratch Races, Points Races, and Individual Time Trials. From start to finish, riders battled for every point, with the final standings reflecting months of dedication and tactical racing.

Overall Podium

Michel Machado's dominant campaign saw him finish 27 points clear of third place:

CAT 1

The Portuguese rider dominated the top category with flawless performances across all eight stages, claiming both the CAT 1 title and the overall championship.

CAT 2

  • Individual Winner: Joona Tuikka (Finland) - 787 points
  • Winning Team: Ride Club Finland-Sweden 2

The Finnish rider secured the CAT 2 individual crown, helping Ride Club Finland-Sweden 2 claim the team title as well.

CAT 3

  • Individual Winner: Gaet 1971 (France) - 786 points
  • Winning Team: ZTBR eCycling (Cat3)

The French rider from Louis Racing Team delivered a commanding performance to claim the CAT 3 title.

CAT 4

  • Individual Winner: Christophe Cahour (France) - 718 points
  • Winning Team: Die 3schwĂ€nzigen Pornohengste

The French rider put together a strong season to claim the CAT 4 individual title, showcasing the depth of talent in the European zone.

CAT 5

  • Individual Winner: Terry Flynn (England) - 811 points
  • Winning Team: Louis Racing Team - Cat 5

The English veteran delivered an outstanding season, finishing second overall while claiming the CAT 5 individual title.

CAT 6

  • Individual Winner: Regis LE.BIHAN (France) - 784 points
  • Winning Team: Louis Racing Team - Cat 6

LE.BIHAN delivered consistently strong performances to take a well-deserved CAT 6 victory, while Louis Racing Team dominated the category team competition.

Looking Ahead

A huge thank you to the 746 riders who made Zone B - Europe such an exciting competition. The European zone showcased remarkable depth of talent, with French riders claiming three of the six individual category titles. Season 2 kicks off in the last week of February - we can't wait to see you back on the start line!

Good morning, congratulations on organizing the tournament. I participated in all eight races and really enjoyed myself. I hope that next year there will be more controls to eliminate the cheaters. Thanks, and good luck! :)

bonjour, merci pour cette compĂ©tition, un petit reproche pour les drones police qui ont arrĂȘtĂ©s certains coureurs sans raison, personnellement je faisais attention a mes watts pour les sprints de fin, difficile de voir quelqu'un devant toi se faire arrĂȘter a 10 mĂštres de la ligne d'arrivĂ©e.
