Season 1 in Zone A finished and winners are ready to be crowned


The dust has settled on an exhilarating eight-stage journey through the Cycling Esports League Zone A - Australasia. Over the course of this competitive season, riders from across the globe battled through Scratch Races, Points Races, and Individual Time Trials, showcasing the very best of virtual cycling competition.

Eight Stages of Intense Racing

The season delivered seven action-packed stages. Unfortunately, Stage 4 had to be cancelled due to a results processing error - our sincere apologies to all affected riders. Despite this setback, the competition remained fierce throughout, with riders accumulating points across Stages 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8 to determine the final standings.

Overall Podium

The overall classification saw incredibly tight margins at the top, with just 8 points separating first from third place:

Category Champions

CAT 1

The Polish rider dominated the top category with consistent performances across all stages, proving himself as the strongest competitor in the Australasia zone.

CAT 2

  • Individual Winner: James Mountier (New Zealand) - 631 points
  • Winning Team: Cat 2 Collective

The Kiwi rider flew the flag for the host region, taking the CAT 2 crown with solid performances throughout the season.

CAT 3

  • Individual Winner: A3jan Vd Nest (South Africa) - 700 points
  • Winning Team: Level Racing Neo Pro

An impressive campaign from the South African rider, whose consistency helped propel Level Racing Neo Pro to the category team title.

CAT 4

  • Individual Winner: Widdley Braggins (Great Britain) - 692 points
  • Winning Team: OZe Expert

The British rider put together a strong season to claim the CAT 4 individual title, while OZe Expert dominated the team competition.

CAT 5

  • Individual Winner: Marcos De Brito (USA) - 726 points
  • Winning Team: ZTBR eCycling

The American powerhouse not only claimed the CAT 5 title but also secured second place in the overall classification - a remarkable achievement that helped ZTBR eCycling to both the category and second place in the overall team standings.

CAT 6

  • Individual Winner: Melissa Scrivin (Scotland) - 687 points
  • Winning Team: Western Cycles - 18:00 Slot

Scrivin delivered consistently strong performances to take a well-deserved CAT 6 victory, while Western Cycles dominated the team competition en route to their overall team championship.

Thank you to all 154 riders who participated across the six categories this season. Your dedication, competitive spirit, and sportsmanship made Zone A - Australasia a success. The Cycling Esports league will return in the last week of February with Season 2!
