Ranks explained
There are total of 6 ranks, each rider is categorized into the rank based on their best 20-minute W/kg effort from last 3 months. This number is then multiplied by 0.95 and used to calculate the rank. The ranks are:
- Pro Elite - Your category is Pro Elite. This means your FTP (Functional Threshold Power) is 5.0 w/kg or higher.
- Pro - Your category is Pro. This means your FTP is between 4.3 – 4.9 w/kg.
- Neo pro - Your category is Neo Pro. This means your FTP is between 3.7 – 4.2 w/kg.
- Expert - Your category is Expert. This means your FTP is between 3.0 – 3.6 w/kg.
- Sport - Your category is Sport. This means your FTP is up to 2.9 w/kg.
- Club - You are currently in the Club category, which means you haven’t been categorized yet. Once you complete a ride, your FTP (95% of your best 20-minute power in the last 90 days) will be calculated, and you’ll be assigned a category automatically.
You can upgrade into a better rank anytime by riding above the next rank threshold. The only way down is to wait 3 months before your previous effort has expired.
